The first version, for testers. Before a meeting or reminder, every screen on your Mac dims, and you hold to send it away.

Every screen dims before a meeting or reminder

One to three minutes before the start, every display on your Mac dims and blurs, and waves move out from the event's title. It's the only thing moving, so you notice it from the other monitor. Choose the minute in Settings.

Press and hold to send it away

A click doesn't close it. Press and hold the ring, or the Space bar, for a second and a half, and letting go early starts the ring again. Snooze sends it away once and brings it back a minute before the start.

A quiet heads-up first

Fifteen minutes before, by default, a small panel appears over the window you're in. There's no sound, and your typing carries on. Choose up to four heads-up times in Settings, or none.

Louder if you ignore it, quieter in a meeting app

After 30 seconds the waves reach the edges of the screen and a chime starts. With Teams, Zoom, Webex, Keynote or PowerPoint in front, it shows a small corner panel instead and dims nothing.

Your calendars and reminders

Microsoft 365 and Teams: sign in with Microsoft, read-only. It works even where Exchange won't sync to your Mac.

Mac Calendar: any account in macOS Internet Accounts, such as iCloud or Google.

Reminders: any reminder with a due time.

Join opens the meeting in Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex and more. The setup guide walks through connecting each one.
